Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (150g) self-rising flour
  • 1 cup (245g) non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 tbsp everything bagel seasoning

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line your baking sheet.
  2. In your large bowl, combine 1 cup (150g) self rising flour and 1 cup (245g) Greek yogurt.
  3. Mix with a spatula until a shaggy, thick dough forms and no dry flour remains at the bottom.
  4. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently for 2 minutes until the surface feels smooth and slightly elastic.
  5. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions using your knife or bench scraper.
  6. Roll each piece into a rope about 7 inches long, then join the ends to form a circle. Note: Pinch the ends firmly so they don't pop open.
  7. Place the rings on the prepared sheet, leaving 2 inches of space between them.
  8. Brush the tops generously with the beaten egg.
  9. Sprinkle 2 tbsp of everything seasoning over the damp egg wash.
  10. Bake for 20 minutes until the bagels are puffed and deep golden brown.
