  • 450g (1 pound) fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) salt, or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) black pepper, or to taste
  • Optional: Red pepper flakes for a touch of heat

Instructions:

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). (If your air fryer doesn't require preheating, skip this step).
  2. Place trimmed green beans in a large bowl.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Add red pepper flakes, if desired.
  4. Toss the green beans well to ensure they are evenly coated with the oil and seasonings.
  5. Place the seasoned green beans in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding. You may need to cook in batches.
  6. Air fry for 8-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the green beans are tender-crisp and slightly browned.
  7. Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately.
