Ingredients:
- 450g (1 pound) fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) salt, or to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) black pepper, or to taste
- Optional: Red pepper flakes for a touch of heat
Instructions:
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). (If your air fryer doesn't require preheating, skip this step).
- Place trimmed green beans in a large bowl.
- Drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Add red pepper flakes, if desired.
- Toss the green beans well to ensure they are evenly coated with the oil and seasonings.
- Place the seasoned green beans in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding. You may need to cook in batches.
- Air fry for 8-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the green beans are tender-crisp and slightly browned.
- Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately.
