Ingredients:

  • 1 pound (450 g) ground beef, browned
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup (140 g) frozen mixed vegetables (peas, corn, carrots)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz/300 g) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package (28 oz/800 g) frozen tater tots
  • 1 cup (120 g) shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in the frozen mixed vegetables, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  5. Spread the filling mixture evenly into the baking dish.
  6. Top with frozen tater tots in a single layer over the beef mixture.
  7. If desired, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
  8. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes, until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.
