Ingredients:
- 1 pound (450 g) ground beef, browned
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup (140 g) frozen mixed vegetables (peas, corn, carrots)
- 1 can (10.5 oz/300 g) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) beef broth
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 package (28 oz/800 g) frozen tater tots
- 1 cup (120 g) shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the frozen mixed vegetables, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Spread the filling mixture evenly into the baking dish.
- Top with frozen tater tots in a single layer over the beef mixture.
- If desired, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
- Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes, until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.
