Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (370g) Long-grain white rice
  • 1 tbsp (14g) Unsalted butter
  • 3 cups (710ml) Low-sodium beef bone broth
  • 1/2 tsp (3g) Sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp (1g) Cracked black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Place the rice in a fine-mesh strainer and rinse under cold running water, stirring gently until the water runs clear to remove excess surface starch.
  2. Add the rinsed rice, beef bone broth, butter, salt, and pepper into the inner pot of the rice cooker and stir once to distribute the butter.
  3. Close the lid and select the 'White Rice' or 'Standard' setting. Once the machine switches to 'Warm' mode, let the rice steam undisturbed for 10 minutes.
  4. Open the lid and use a rice paddle or fork to gently lift and fold the rice to incorporate air and prevent compression.
