Ingredients:

  • 1 cup blue raspberry syrup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 6 cups crushed ice
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions:

  1. Combine the blue raspberry syrup, water, and lemon juice in a pitcher. Stir vigorously until the mixture is a uniform, deep neon blue to ensure no sugar pockets remain.
  2. Add the crushed ice to a high-speed blender. Pour the flavor concentrate over the top of the ice.
  3. Start the blender on the lowest setting to break up large chunks, then quickly ramp up to high. Blend until a whirlpool effect forms and the mixture reaches a smooth, velvet-like consistency.
  4. Pour the slushie into chilled glasses and serve immediately before the ice crystals begin to collapse.
