Ingredients:

  • 4 ears Frozen Corn on the Cob (approx. 680 grams)
  • Water (enough to fill a large pot, approx. 4 liters)
  • 1 tablespoon Salt (15 grams), optional
  • 4 tablespoons Butter (56 grams), optional for serving
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper, to taste, optional for serving

Instructions:

  1. Fill a large pot with water (about ¾ full) and add salt if desired.
  2. Bring the water to a rolling boil over high heat.
  3. Rinse frozen corn under cold water to remove ice crystals. If needed, break cobs in half for easier handling.
  4. Carefully add the corn to the boiling water. Cover the pot and cook for 4-6 minutes.
  5. Use tongs to check corn for doneness; it should be heated through and tender.
  6. Remove the corn using tongs and transfer to a colander to drain. Serve with optional butter and freshly ground black pepper.
