Ingredients:
- 2 slices of rustic bread (e.g., sourdough, ciabatta)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
- 4 oz burrata cheese, drained
- 2 tablespoons pesto
- 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
- Pinch of flaky sea salt
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)
- Cracked black pepper, to taste (optional)
Instructions:
- Brush bread slices with olive oil (and garlic, if desired).
- Toast bread in a toaster or skillet until golden brown and crispy.
- Place toasted bread slices on a plate.
- Spread pesto evenly over each slice of toast.
- Carefully place half of the burrata on top of the pesto on each toast. Gently tear or slice the burrata if needed.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze, sprinkle with flaky sea salt, and add fresh cracked black pepper.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired, and serve immediately.
