Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of rustic bread (e.g., sourdough, ciabatta)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
  • 4 oz burrata cheese, drained
  • 2 tablespoons pesto
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
  • Pinch of flaky sea salt
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)
  • Cracked black pepper, to taste (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Brush bread slices with olive oil (and garlic, if desired).
  2. Toast bread in a toaster or skillet until golden brown and crispy.
  3. Place toasted bread slices on a plate.
  4. Spread pesto evenly over each slice of toast.
  5. Carefully place half of the burrata on top of the pesto on each toast. Gently tear or slice the burrata if needed.
  6. Drizzle with balsamic glaze, sprinkle with flaky sea salt, and add fresh cracked black pepper.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired, and serve immediately.
