Ingredients:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet instant yeast (2 ¼ teaspoons)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. Stir in warm water and olive oil until a rough dough forms.
  3. Knead on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, and oregano.
  6. Punch down the risen dough and roll it out to a rectangle (about 12x18 inches).
  7. Sprinkle the cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
  8. Roll up the dough tightly, pinch seams to seal, and shape into a loaf.
  9. Place on a parchment-lined baking tray, cover, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  10. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
