Ingredients:
- 3 cups (450g) frozen pitted dark sweet cherries
- 2 cups (480ml) ice cubes
- 1 cup (240ml) chilled cherry juice
- 1/4 cup (60ml) maple syrup
- 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice
Instructions:
- Pour the chilled cherry juice, maple syrup, and lemon juice into the blender canister to create the liquid base.
- Add the frozen pitted cherries and ice cubes on top of the liquid layer.
- Secure the lid and blend on the lowest setting, quickly ramping up to high.
- Blend for 45–60 seconds, using a silicone spatula to scrape down the sides if necessary, until the mixture is thick, frothy, and smooth.
