Ingredients:

  • 3 cups (450g) frozen pitted dark sweet cherries
  • 2 cups (480ml) ice cubes
  • 1 cup (240ml) chilled cherry juice
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice

Instructions:

  1. Pour the chilled cherry juice, maple syrup, and lemon juice into the blender canister to create the liquid base.
  2. Add the frozen pitted cherries and ice cubes on top of the liquid layer.
  3. Secure the lid and blend on the lowest setting, quickly ramping up to high.
  4. Blend for 45–60 seconds, using a silicone spatula to scrape down the sides if necessary, until the mixture is thick, frothy, and smooth.
