Ingredients:

  • 12 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
  • Salt (for water)
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Remove chicken from skillet. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  4. Slice cooked chicken and return to the skillet. Add the drained pasta to the sauce and toss to combine.
  5. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
