Ingredients:
- 1 package (15.25 oz/432 g) chocolate cake mix
- 1 package (3.9 oz/110 g) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) vegetable oil
- 1 cup (240 ml) water
- 3 large eggs
- 1 package (8 oz/226 g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup (240 ml) heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup (60 g) powdered sugar
- 1 package (15.25 oz/432 g) Oreo cookies, crushed (divided)
- 1 cup (240 ml) gummy worms (optional, for decoration)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, instant pudding mix, vegetable oil, water, and eggs. Whisk until combined and smooth.
- Pour the batter into the greased baking dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- While the cake is cooling, prepare the cream filling. In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add heavy whipping cream and powdered sugar, whipping until light and fluffy.
- Once the cake is cool, crumble it into large pieces.
- In a clear serving bowl or layered dish, create layers starting with a layer of crumbled cake, followed by cream filling, and a layer of crushed Oreos.
- Repeat layering until all components are used, ending with a layer of crushed Oreos on top.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving. Decorate with gummy worms, if desired.
