Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (45g) old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp (12g) chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup (60g) plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Place 45g of oats, 12g of chia seeds, 1 tsp of cinnamon, and a pinch of salt into your jar.
  2. Dollop in 60g of Greek yogurt.
  3. Add 120ml of almond milk, 1 tbsp of maple syrup, and 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract.
  4. Use a spoon to stir vigorously until no dry streaks remain at the bottom.
  5. Let the jar sit for 2 minutes on the counter, then stir one more time.
  6. Secure the lid tightly and place the jar in the refrigerator.
  7. Leave for at least 4 hours, though overnight (8-10 hours) is the gold standard for texture.
  8. In the morning, give it a quick stir. If it's too thick, add a splash more almond milk.
  9. Top with extra cinnamon or fresh fruit right before eating.
