Ingredients:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, finely shredded
  • 2 tbsp dried beef, finely minced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp green onions, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup pecans, toasted and finely chopped

Instructions:

  1. Beat the softened cream cheese using an electric mixer on medium-high speed until the texture is velvety and completely smooth.
  2. Reduce the mixer speed to low. Gradually add the shredded cheddar, minced dried beef, Worcestershire sauce, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Scoop the mixture onto a large piece of plastic wrap. Using your hands, gently roll the cheese into a tight, uniform ball and twist the ends of the plastic wrap tightly to secure the shape.
  4. Place the wrapped ball in the refrigerator for 2 to 4 hours to set the fats and ensure the ball holds its shape.
  5. Unwrap the chilled cheese ball and roll it in the toasted, finely chopped pecans until evenly coated.
