Ingredients:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, finely shredded
- 2 tbsp dried beef, finely minced
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp green onions, finely chopped
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup pecans, toasted and finely chopped
Instructions:
- Beat the softened cream cheese using an electric mixer on medium-high speed until the texture is velvety and completely smooth.
- Reduce the mixer speed to low. Gradually add the shredded cheddar, minced dried beef, Worcestershire sauce, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Scoop the mixture onto a large piece of plastic wrap. Using your hands, gently roll the cheese into a tight, uniform ball and twist the ends of the plastic wrap tightly to secure the shape.
- Place the wrapped ball in the refrigerator for 2 to 4 hours to set the fats and ensure the ball holds its shape.
- Unwrap the chilled cheese ball and roll it in the toasted, finely chopped pecans until evenly coated.
