Ingredients:
- 1 Tbsp Fine Sea Salt
- 1 Tbsp Tajín Clásico Seasoning
- 1 large Lime Wedge (for rim)
- 2 fl oz (60 ml) Mezcal Joven
- 1 fl oz (30 ml) Fresh Lime Juice
- 75 fl oz (22 ml) Premium Orange Liqueur (such as Cointreau)
- 5 fl oz (15 ml) Agave Nectar
- Ice (For shaking and serving)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Rim Mix: On a small plate, combine the sea salt and Tajín seasoning. Mix well.
- Wet and Salt the Glass: Rub the lime wedge around the exterior rim of the serving glass. Gently invert the glass and press the wet rim into the salt mixture. Tap off any excess salt. Set the glass aside.
- Measure and Combine: Using a jigger, carefully measure the Mezcal, fresh lime juice, orange liqueur, and agave nectar. Pour all liquid ingredients into the cocktail shaker tin.
- Add Ice and Shake: Fill the shaker two-thirds full with high-quality ice cubes. Secure the lid tightly and shake hard for 15–20 seconds until the shaker is thoroughly frosted.
- Strain and Serve: Fill the prepared, rimmed glass with fresh ice cubes. Using a strainer, strain the cocktail mixture over the fresh ice in the serving glass.
- Garnish: Garnish with a fresh wheel or wedge of lime. Serve immediately.
