Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups Frozen Strawberries
- 1 large Frozen Banana, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup Milk (Dairy or Non-Dairy), cold
- ¼ cup Plain Greek Yoghurt (Optional)
- 1 Tbsp Honey or Maple Syrup
- ½ tsp Vanilla Extract
- ½ tsp Fresh Lime Juice
Instructions:
- Measure and Prep: Ensure all liquid ingredients are measured and ready. If freezing your own banana, ensure it is peeled and broken into chunks for easier blending.
- Start with Liquids: Pour the milk and add the Greek yoghurt (if using) into the blender jug first. This lubricates the blades and prevents air pockets.
- Add Enhancements: Drizzle in the honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and lime juice.
- Add Frozen Ingredients: Place the frozen banana chunks on top of the liquid ingredients, followed by the frozen strawberries.
- Begin Blending: Secure the lid. Start the blender on a low speed to crush the fruit, then quickly increase the speed to high. Blend until the mixture is uniform and completely smooth. Use the tamper to push ingredients toward the blade if needed.
- Adjust and Serve: If the blender stalls, stop, scrape down the sides, and add 1-2 tablespoons more milk (only if necessary) to restart the flow. Pour immediately into chilled glasses.
