Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon taco seasoning
- ½ cup water
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- ½ cup diced tomatoes
- ¼ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup salsa
- Optional: sliced jalapeños or avocado
Instructions:
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned.
- Stir in taco seasoning and water; simmer until the mixture thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
- Lay a flour tortilla on a flat surface.
- Add a layer of the beef mixture in the center, followed by cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, salsa, and any optional toppings.
- Fold the edges of the tortilla over the filling to create a sealed shape.
- Heat the skillet over medium heat and lightly spray or drizzle with oil.
- Place the folded crunchwrap seam-side down in the skillet.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the skillet, allow to cool slightly, then cut in half to reveal the layers.
- Serve with additional salsa or sour cream if desired.
