Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound ground beef (450 g)
- 2 hotdogs, sliced diagonally
- 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce (425 g)
- 1/2 cup banana ketchup (120 ml)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 pound spaghetti (450 g)
- Water for boiling
- Salt for seasoning water
- 1/2 cup grated cheese (e.g., Cheddar, 60 g)
- Sliced hard-boiled eggs
- Chopped parsley or green onions
Instructions:
- Fill a large pot with water, add a generous pinch of salt, and bring to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Sauté chopped onion until translucent.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until browned.
- Stir in sliced hotdogs and cook until heated through.
- Add tomato sauce, banana ketchup, soy sauce, and sugar. Mix well. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Toss cooked spaghetti in the sauce until well coated. Heat through if necessary.
- Garnish with grated cheese, sliced hard-boiled eggs, and chopped herbs.
