Ingredients:
- 3 medium ripe figs, stems removed (about 150g)
- 1 large ripe banana (about 120g)
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Ice cubes (optional for a chilled smoothie)
Instructions:
- Prepare the ingredients: wash figs and remove stems; peel and slice banana.
- In the blender, add the prepared figs, banana, almond milk, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.
- Blend on high until smooth and creamy, about 30-60 seconds.
- If desired, add ice cubes and blend again until the desired consistency is reached.
- Taste, and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more honey or syrup.
- Pour into serving glasses and serve immediately.
