Ingredients:

  • 3 medium ripe figs, stems removed (about 150g)
  • 1 large ripe banana (about 120g)
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Ice cubes (optional for a chilled smoothie)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the ingredients: wash figs and remove stems; peel and slice banana.
  2. In the blender, add the prepared figs, banana, almond milk, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.
  3. Blend on high until smooth and creamy, about 30-60 seconds.
  4. If desired, add ice cubes and blend again until the desired consistency is reached.
  5. Taste, and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more honey or syrup.
  6. Pour into serving glasses and serve immediately.
