Ingredients:

  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, well softened
  • 8 ounces pumpkin-flavored cream cheese (about 1 cup)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 4–5 cups powdered sugar

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add half of the pumpkin cream cheese to the butter and mix until fully smooth.
  3. Add the remaining cream cheese, mixing in the vanilla extract and salt.
  4. Gradually mix in 2 cups of powdered sugar until well blended and smooth.
  5. Add an additional 2 cups of powdered sugar and blend until no lumps remain.
  6. Check the frosting consistency; if it's too stiff, add powdered sugar 1 tablespoon at a time until desired thickness is achieved.
  7. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freeze for later use.
