Ingredients:
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, well softened
- 8 ounces pumpkin-flavored cream cheese (about 1 cup)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 4–5 cups powdered sugar
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until smooth and creamy.
- Add half of the pumpkin cream cheese to the butter and mix until fully smooth.
- Add the remaining cream cheese, mixing in the vanilla extract and salt.
- Gradually mix in 2 cups of powdered sugar until well blended and smooth.
- Add an additional 2 cups of powdered sugar and blend until no lumps remain.
- Check the frosting consistency; if it's too stiff, add powdered sugar 1 tablespoon at a time until desired thickness is achieved.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freeze for later use.
