  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Open the crescent roll tube. Unroll the dough onto the prepared sheet. Press the perforations gently together to form one large, contiguous rectangle or rough circle (like a pizza base).
  3. In a small bowl, thoroughly whisk together the granulated sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Brush the entire surface of the dough evenly with the melted butter.
  5. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the buttered dough. Gently pat down to help it adhere.
  6. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the edges are deeply golden brown and the centre is cooked through and slightly crisp.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool on the sheet for about 5 minutes.
  8. If using the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, vanilla, and 2 tablespoons of milk/cream. Add remaining liquid drop by drop until you reach a smooth, drizzly consistency.
  9. Drizzle the glaze haphazardly over the warm pizza. Cut into squares or wedges immediately and serve warm.
