- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp spice blend (e.g., Smoked Paprika, Chili Powder)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper or foil for easier cleanup.
- Dice the sweet potatoes into uniform 1-inch cubes. Uniformity is critical for even roasting and crispness.
- In a large bowl, toss the cubed sweet potatoes with 2 Tbsp of high heat oil, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper, and 1 tsp spice blend until every cube is evenly coated.
- Spread the potatoes in a single layer on the prepared sheet pan, ensuring significant space between cubes. Avoid overcrowding the pan, as this causes steaming instead of roasting.
