Ingredients:
- ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
- 1 cup (170g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter, stirring occasionally.
- Once the butter is melted, whisk in the granulated sugar and heavy cream until well combined.
- Increase the heat to medium and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and continue to stir until fully melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and whisk in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
- Pour the hot fudge sauce into a heatproof jar or bowl and serve warm. If not using immediately, allow to cool and store in the refrigerator.
