Ingredients:
- 1 package (15.25 ounces) Oreo cookies (regular or Double Stuf)
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips or candy coating
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (optional, for thinning chocolate)
Instructions:
- Place Oreo cookies in a food processor; pulse until fine crumbs form, or place in a zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs and softened cream cheese until fully incorporated.
- Scoop out a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball, placing each on the prepared baking sheet.
- Refrigerate the balls for 30 minutes to firm up.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and vegetable oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
- Dip each ball in melted chocolate using a fork, allowing excess to drip off. Return the coated balls to the parchment paper.
- Allow the chocolate coating to set at room temperature or refrigerate for about 15 minutes until firm.
