Ingredients:

  • 1 package (15.25 ounces) Oreo cookies (regular or Double Stuf)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips or candy coating
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (optional, for thinning chocolate)

Instructions:

  1. Place Oreo cookies in a food processor; pulse until fine crumbs form, or place in a zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs and softened cream cheese until fully incorporated.
  3. Scoop out a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball, placing each on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Refrigerate the balls for 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and vegetable oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
  6. Dip each ball in melted chocolate using a fork, allowing excess to drip off. Return the coated balls to the parchment paper.
  7. Allow the chocolate coating to set at room temperature or refrigerate for about 15 minutes until firm.
