Ingredients:
- 2.5 oz (75 ml) London dry gin
- 0.5 oz (15 ml) dry vermouth
- 0.5 oz (15 ml) olive brine
- 2-3 green olives
Instructions:
- Fill a martini glass with ice water to chill while preparing the martini.
- Using a jigger, measure and pour the gin, vermouth, and olive brine into a cocktail shaker or mixing glass.
- Fill the shaker or mixing glass with ice until about three-quarters full.
- Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds or stir gently with a bar spoon for 30 seconds if preferred.
- Discard the ice water from the chilled martini glass.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared martini glass.
- Skewer 2-3 olives on a cocktail pick and place them in the glass as garnish.
