Ingredients:

  • 36 chocolate sandwich cookies (e.g., Oreos), cream filling removed (about 350g)
  • 2 (3.4 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix (96g - 100g each)
  • 3 cups cold milk (710ml)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened (225g)
  • 1 cup whipped topping, thawed (225g)
  • Gummy worms (assorted sizes and colors)
  • Optional: Crushed chocolate rocks, artificial flowers

Instructions:

  1. Pulse the chocolate sandwich cookies in a food processor until they resemble fine dirt. Alternatively, place cookies in a zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin. Set aside.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until smooth. Let stand for 5 minutes to thicken slightly.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  4. Gently fold the thickened pudding into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
  5. Gently fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is light and airy.
  6. In individual serving cups or a trifle dish, layer the crushed cookies and pudding mixture, beginning and ending with the crushed cookies.
  7. Decorate the top layer of crushed cookies with gummy worms and optional chocolate rocks or artificial flowers.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the pudding to set and the flavors to meld. For best results, chill overnight.
