Ingredients:
- 36 chocolate sandwich cookies (e.g., Oreos), cream filling removed (about 350g)
- 2 (3.4 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix (96g - 100g each)
- 3 cups cold milk (710ml)
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened (225g)
- 1 cup whipped topping, thawed (225g)
- Gummy worms (assorted sizes and colors)
- Optional: Crushed chocolate rocks, artificial flowers
Instructions:
- Pulse the chocolate sandwich cookies in a food processor until they resemble fine dirt. Alternatively, place cookies in a zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin. Set aside.
- In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until smooth. Let stand for 5 minutes to thicken slightly.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold the thickened pudding into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
- Gently fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is light and airy.
- In individual serving cups or a trifle dish, layer the crushed cookies and pudding mixture, beginning and ending with the crushed cookies.
- Decorate the top layer of crushed cookies with gummy worms and optional chocolate rocks or artificial flowers.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the pudding to set and the flavors to meld. For best results, chill overnight.
