Ingredients:
- 3 cups Mixed Nuts (Almonds, Pecans, Cashews), raw and unsalted
- 2 cups Pretzels (small twists or sticks)
- 1 cup Sesame Sticks
- 2 cups Dried Cereal (e.g., Chex or Corn Flakes)
- 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, melted
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 4 Tablespoons Buttermilk Ranch Seasoning Powder
- 2 Teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Dried Dill Weed
- 1/2 Teaspoon freshly cracked Black Pepper
- 1/2 Teaspoon Fine Sea Salt
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a large, rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly combine all dry base ingredients: mixed nuts, pretzels, sesame sticks, and dried cereal.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Remove from heat and stir in the olive oil.
- Whisk the ranch powder, garlic powder, onion powder, dill, black pepper, and salt directly into the melted butter mixture until smooth.
- Pour the seasoned butter evenly over the dry base ingredients in the large bowl. Gently fold everything together using a large spatula until every piece is evenly coated.
- Spread the coated mixture in a single, even layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes. Remove the tray, stir the mixture thoroughly to prevent burning, and return to the oven for another 5–10 minutes, watching closely until lightly toasted.
- Remove from the oven and let the mix cool completely on the baking sheet to allow it to crisp up fully (approximately 30 minutes).
- Once fully cooled, break up any large clumps and store the Legendary Ranch Trail Mix in an airtight container.
