Ingredients:

  • 1 kg fresh feijoas, peeled and chopped
  • 50g granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 150g all-purpose flour
  • 75g rolled oats
  • 100g unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 75g brown sugar
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Combine feijoas, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and cornstarch in a bowl. Toss gently to coat.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, and salt.
  3. Cut in cold, cubed butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Pour feijoa filling into a baking dish. Sprinkle crumble topping over the fruit.
  5. Bake at 175°C (350°F) for 35-40 minutes, until golden brown and bubbling.
  6. Cool slightly before serving.
