Ingredients:
- 1 kg fresh feijoas, peeled and chopped
- 50g granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 150g all-purpose flour
- 75g rolled oats
- 100g unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 75g brown sugar
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Combine feijoas, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and cornstarch in a bowl. Toss gently to coat.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, and salt.
- Cut in cold, cubed butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Pour feijoa filling into a baking dish. Sprinkle crumble topping over the fruit.
- Bake at 175°C (350°F) for 35-40 minutes, until golden brown and bubbling.
- Cool slightly before serving.
