Ingredients:
- 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (240ml) whole milk
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Vegetable oil (enough for frying, approximately 4 cups or 1 liter)
- 12 Oreo cookies
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
- Chocolate sauce (for drizzling)
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Whisk in milk, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In a frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- Dip each Oreo cookie into the batter
- Carefully place the battered Oreos in the hot oil.
- Fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown, using a slotted spoon to turn them.
- Remove the fried Oreos and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Optionally, dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with chocolate sauce before serving.
