  • 1 cup whole milk (240 mL)

  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)
  • Chocolate syrup (for drizzling)

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Whisk until dry ingredients are well incorporated.
  3. Add milk and egg; mix until smooth and lump-free.
  4. Allow the batter to rest for 15 minutes.
  5. In a deep frying pan, pour enough oil to cover the Oreos (about 2-3 inches deep).
  6. Heat oil to 375°F (190°C). Use a thermometer for accuracy.
  7. Dip each Oreo into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated.
  8. Carefully lower the coated Oreos into the hot oil, a few at a time.
  9. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  10. Use a slotted spoon to remove them from the oil and transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.
  11. Dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with chocolate syrup if desired.
