Ingredients:

  • 12 oz pasta (penne or rigatoni recommended)
  • 1 lb ground beef or steak strips
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Boil a pot of salted water and cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced bell pepper, diced onion, and minced garlic; sauté for about 3-4 minutes until softened.
  3. Add ground beef or steak strips to the skillet. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Stir in the softened cream cheese and beef broth until the mixture is creamy and well combined.
  5. Mix in the cooked pasta until fully coated with the sauce.
  6. Sprinkle shredded provolone cheese on top of the pasta mixture. Broil in the oven for about 3-5 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve hot.
