Ingredients:
- 12 oz pasta (penne or rigatoni recommended)
- 1 lb ground beef or steak strips
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
- Boil a pot of salted water and cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced bell pepper, diced onion, and minced garlic; sauté for about 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Add ground beef or steak strips to the skillet. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Stir in the softened cream cheese and beef broth until the mixture is creamy and well combined.
- Mix in the cooked pasta until fully coated with the sauce.
- Sprinkle shredded provolone cheese on top of the pasta mixture. Broil in the oven for about 3-5 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve hot.
