  • 1 tablespoon (15g) black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon (15g) garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon (15g) onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon (5g) cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon (5g) dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon (5g) dried thyme

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine smoked paprika, brown sugar, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, oregano, and thyme.
  2. Whisk until evenly blended.
  3. Use a small amount to taste and adjust seasoning according to personal preference.
  4. Transfer the rub to an airtight container. Label and date it.
  5. Generously apply the rub to your choice of meat, ensuring it covers all sides. Let sit for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
