Ingredients:

  • 1 packet (0.14 oz / 4 g) unsweetened Kool-Aid mix
  • 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
  • 2 cups (480 ml) room temperature water
  • 4 cups (945 g) ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. In a pitcher, combine the unsweetened Kool-Aid mix, granulated sugar, and water. Stir vigorously for 1–2 minutes until the sugar is completely dissolved and the liquid is clear and vibrant.
  2. Pour the concentrated syrup into the blender and add the ice cubes.
  3. Start the blender on the lowest setting and quickly increase to high. Use the pulse function to break down larger chunks first, blending until the sound of the motor becomes a smooth, consistent whir.
  4. Stop the blender and stir with a spoon to check for ice pockets. If too thick, add a splash of water; if too thin, add 1/2 cup (110 g) more ice and blend for another 15 seconds.
