  • 2 cups (240g) icing sugar, sifted
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) milk or water
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, sift the icing sugar to ensure it’s fine and lump-free.
  2. Gradually add the milk (or water) to the sifted icing sugar.
  3. Use a whisk or spoon to combine the ingredients until the mixture is smooth and glossy.
  4. (Optional) Stir in the vanilla extract for added flavor.
  5. If the icing is too thick, add more milk, a teaspoon at a time, until you reach the desired consistency. If too thin, add a little more icing sugar.
  6. Use immediately to ice your baked goods, ensuring an even spread or drizzle.
