Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ cup milk
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
- Chocolate sauce or caramel sauce, for drizzling
- Fresh berries (strawberries or blueberries)
Instructions:
- Preheat the waffle maker according to the manufacturers instructions.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, combine melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and milk; mix until smooth.
- Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
- Spray the waffle maker with non-stick cooking spray.
- Pour an appropriate amount of batter onto the waffle maker, enough to cover but not overflow the edges.
- Close the lid and cook until golden brown (about 3-5 minutes).
- Carefully remove the waffle cookie from the maker and place it on a cooling rack.
- Repeat until all batter is cooked.
- Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with chocolate/caramel sauce. Optionally, top with fresh berries.
