Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
  • ½ cup (120 ml) buttermilk or plain yogurt
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon lemon juice or vinegar

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup of heavy cream and ½ cup of buttermilk.
  2. Whisk vigorously until well combined and slightly thickened, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Stir in salt and optional lemon juice or vinegar for additional tang.
  4. Pour the mixture into an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to thicken further.
  5. After chilling, give it a good stir; if too thick, whisk in a little milk until desired consistency is achieved.
  6. Keep refrigerated and consume within 1-2 weeks.
