Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
- ½ cup (120 ml) buttermilk or plain yogurt
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- Optional: 1 teaspoon lemon juice or vinegar
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup of heavy cream and ½ cup of buttermilk.
- Whisk vigorously until well combined and slightly thickened, about 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in salt and optional lemon juice or vinegar for additional tang.
- Pour the mixture into an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to thicken further.
- After chilling, give it a good stir; if too thick, whisk in a little milk until desired consistency is achieved.
- Keep refrigerated and consume within 1-2 weeks.
