Ingredients:

  • 1 double shot (approx. 60ml / 2 fl oz) espresso, freshly brewed
  • 1 tablespoon (7g / 0.25 oz) unsweetened cocoa powder, plus extra for dusting
  • 60ml / 2 fl oz whole milk (or your milk of choice)
  • Optional: Sugar or sweetener to taste

Instructions:

  1. Lightly dust the inside of your glass with cocoa powder.
  2. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder evenly at the bottom of your glass.
  3. Prepare a double shot of espresso directly into the glass over the cocoa powder.
  4. Froth the milk until it’s light, airy, and has a stable foam.
  5. Gently pour the frothed milk over the espresso, holding back some of the foam with a spoon.
  6. Spoon the remaining frothed milk foam on top, creating a distinct layer.
  7. Finish with a final dusting of cocoa powder over the foam.
  8. If desired, add sugar or your preferred sweetener.
