Ingredients:
- ½ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup red wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
- - Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Gather all your ingredients and equipment. Youll need a medium mixing bowl or a mason jar with a lid for easy shaking.
- In your mixing bowl (or mason jar), combine the olive oil, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey/maple syrup, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Add the minced garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper along with salt and black pepper to taste.
- If using a bowl, whisk everything together until well emulsified; if using a mason jar, close the lid tightly and shake vigorously until combined.
- Taste your dressing and adjust seasonings as needed – add more vinegar for tanginess or more honey/maple syrup for sweetness based on your preference.
- For best results, let the dressing sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes before serving so flavors can meld together. If making in advance, store it in an airtight container in the fridge where it will keep for up to two weeks.
