Ingredients:

  • 1 (14 ounce/397g) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 12 ounces (340g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup (240ml) creamy peanut butter (smooth, not chunky!)
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper or foil, leaving an overhang on two sides.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted and smooth. Don't overheat!
  3. Add the peanut butter and vanilla extract to the melted chocolate mixture. Stir until well combined and smooth. The mixture should be thick and glossy.
  4. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan, spreading evenly.
  5. Cover the pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, until firm.
  6. Once firm, use the parchment paper overhang to lift the fudge out of the pan. Cut into 16 squares and serve.
