Ingredients:
- 30 Oreo cookies, regular flavor (about 300g / 10.6 oz)
- 6 tablespoons (85g / 3 oz) unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 teaspoon (1g) salt
- 8 ounces (227g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 (14 ounce) can (397g) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract
- 1 cup (237ml) heavy cream, cold
- Optional: Additional crushed Oreos for garnish
Instructions:
- Finely crush the Oreo cookies using a food processor (or by placing them in a resealable bag and crushing with a rolling pin).
- Combine the crushed Oreos, melted butter, and salt in a medium bowl. Mix well until evenly moistened.
- Press the Oreo mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate to create the oreo pie crust.
- Place the pie crust in the refrigerator to chill for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Gradually add the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract to the cream cheese, mixing until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whip the cold heavy cream with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until evenly combined.
- Pour the filling into the prepared oreo pie crust.
- Cover the pie and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the filling to set completely.
- Before serving, garnish with additional crushed Oreos, if desired.
