Ingredients:

  • 1 package (15.5 oz / 441 g) Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz (227 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz (340 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Optional: Sprinkles or crushed Oreos for decoration

Instructions:

  1. In a food processor, blend Oreos until finely crushed. Alternatively, place Oreos in a resealable bag and crush with a rolling pin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed Oreos and softened cream cheese. Mix until fully integrated and a dough forms.
  3. Scoop tablespoons of the mixture and roll into balls (about 1 inch in diameter). Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes, allowing the mixture to firm up.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth and fully melted. Alternatively, use a double boiler.
  6. Using a fork or toothpick, dip each Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, allowing excess chocolate to drip off. Place back on the baking sheet.
  7. Sprinkle crushed Oreos or sprinkles on top while the chocolate is still wet.
  8. Refrigerate until the chocolate coating is set, about 15-20 minutes.
