Ingredients:
- 1 package (15.5 oz / 441 g) Oreo cookies
- 8 oz (227 g) cream cheese, softened
- 12 oz (340 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Optional: Sprinkles or crushed Oreos for decoration
Instructions:
- In a food processor, blend Oreos until finely crushed. Alternatively, place Oreos in a resealable bag and crush with a rolling pin.
- In a mixing bowl, combine crushed Oreos and softened cream cheese. Mix until fully integrated and a dough forms.
- Scoop tablespoons of the mixture and roll into balls (about 1 inch in diameter). Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Refrigerate for about 30 minutes, allowing the mixture to firm up.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth and fully melted. Alternatively, use a double boiler.
- Using a fork or toothpick, dip each Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, allowing excess chocolate to drip off. Place back on the baking sheet.
- Sprinkle crushed Oreos or sprinkles on top while the chocolate is still wet.
- Refrigerate until the chocolate coating is set, about 15-20 minutes.
