Ingredients:
- 4 bratwurst sausages (about 1/4 pound each, approx. 450 g total)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 medium onion, sliced (approx. 150 g)
- 1 bell pepper, sliced (any color, approx. 150 g)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Rub the mixture over the bratwursts evenly.
- Place the seasoned brats on the baking sheet and scatter sliced onion and bell peppers around them.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Flip the brats halfway through for even cooking.
- Cook until brats are browned and have an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C) or until juices run clear.
- Let brats rest for 2 minutes, then serve hot with your favorite buns and toppings.
