Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (50g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup (60g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup (113g) chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
- 1/2 cup (128g) creamy peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar (confectioners' sugar)
- 1 tablespoon milk (any kind)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang.
- Combine melted butter, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt in a bowl. Whisk until smooth.
- Stir in vanilla extract, then beat in eggs one at a time, until well combined.
- Gently fold in flour until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- In a separate bowl, combine peanut butter, powdered sugar, and milk. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Pour brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Drop spoonfuls of peanut butter mixture randomly over the brownie batter. Use a toothpick or skewer to swirl the peanut butter into the chocolate batter, creating a marbled effect. These peanut butter and chocolate recipes are amazing.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs attached.
- Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before lifting them out using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into squares and serve.
