Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (50g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup (60g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (113g) chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
  • 1/2 cup (128g) creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar (confectioners' sugar)
  • 1 tablespoon milk (any kind)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang.
  2. Combine melted butter, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt in a bowl. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Stir in vanilla extract, then beat in eggs one at a time, until well combined.
  4. Gently fold in flour until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine peanut butter, powdered sugar, and milk. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  7. Pour brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of peanut butter mixture randomly over the brownie batter. Use a toothpick or skewer to swirl the peanut butter into the chocolate batter, creating a marbled effect. These peanut butter and chocolate recipes are amazing.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs attached.
  10. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before lifting them out using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into squares and serve.
