Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) warm water
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) honey
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) grated fresh ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) chili garlic sauce
  • Chopped peanuts, sesame seeds, chopped cilantro/coriander (optional garnish)

Instructions:

  1. (Optional): Sauté garlic and ginger in sesame oil for 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Combine peanut butter, warm water, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, and garlic/ginger (if using) in a bowl.
  3. Whisk until smooth. Add water, 1 tablespoon at a time, to reach desired consistency.
  4. Stir in chili garlic sauce to taste. Adjust seasonings as needed.
