Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) warm water
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) honey
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) grated fresh ginger
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) chili garlic sauce
- Chopped peanuts, sesame seeds, chopped cilantro/coriander (optional garnish)
Instructions:
- (Optional): Sauté garlic and ginger in sesame oil for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Combine peanut butter, warm water, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, and garlic/ginger (if using) in a bowl.
- Whisk until smooth. Add water, 1 tablespoon at a time, to reach desired consistency.
- Stir in chili garlic sauce to taste. Adjust seasonings as needed.
