Ingredients:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions
  • ½ cup red or green pepper jelly
  • 2 tbsp precooked crispy bacon bits

Instructions:

  1. Place the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic powder, and salt into a mixing bowl. Using a hand mixer or spatula, beat the mixture until it is completely smooth and airy.
  2. Fold in the chopped green onions until evenly distributed. Spread the mixture into the bottom of a 6-inch oven-safe baking dish, smoothing the top with a spoon.
  3. Optional: Warm the pepper jelly in a saucepan over low heat for 2 minutes until fluid. Pour the jelly over the cream cheese layer, tilting the dish to ensure the edges are completely covered.
  4. Sprinkle the crispy bacon bits over the top.
  5. For the baked version, preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 10–15 minutes until the edges are bubbling. For the cold version, skip the oven and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
