Ingredients:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp chopped green onions
- ½ cup red or green pepper jelly
- 2 tbsp precooked crispy bacon bits
Instructions:
- Place the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic powder, and salt into a mixing bowl. Using a hand mixer or spatula, beat the mixture until it is completely smooth and airy.
- Fold in the chopped green onions until evenly distributed. Spread the mixture into the bottom of a 6-inch oven-safe baking dish, smoothing the top with a spoon.
- Optional: Warm the pepper jelly in a saucepan over low heat for 2 minutes until fluid. Pour the jelly over the cream cheese layer, tilting the dish to ensure the edges are completely covered.
- Sprinkle the crispy bacon bits over the top.
- For the baked version, preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 10–15 minutes until the edges are bubbling. For the cold version, skip the oven and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
