Ingredients:

  • ½ cup (120 ml) Whole Milk (or alternative)
  • ¼ cup (60 g) Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1 medium (100 g) Frozen Sliced Banana
  • 1 cup (150 g) Frozen Whole Strawberries
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) Runny Honey or Maple Syrup (Optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon (1 ml) Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 small pinch Fine Sea Salt

Instructions:

  1. Prep and Measure: Ensure the banana is peeled, sliced, and fully frozen (ideally at least 6 hours). Measure all liquid ingredients precisely.
  2. Load the blender in the correct order: Add all liquids (milk, yogurt, vanilla, honey/syrup) and the pinch of salt first. Then add the soft frozen banana slices, followed by the harder frozen strawberries.
  3. The Blend: Secure the lid firmly. Start blending on low speed for 10–15 seconds to break up the frozen pieces. Increase to high and blend continuously for 45–60 seconds, or until the mixture is completely homogenous and velvety smooth.
  4. Check consistency: If the smoothie is too thick and the blender is struggling, stop the blender, scrape down the sides, and add 1–2 tablespoons (15–30 ml) of extra milk. Blend for a final 10 seconds.
  5. Serve: Pour the smoothie immediately into a tall glass. Serve straight away to enjoy maximum chill and texture.
