Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Augason Farms Roll Mix
  • 1 cup Warm Water (110°F/43°C)
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Honey or Sugar
  • 1 packet Active Dry Yeast (2¼ teaspoons)
  • ½ teaspoon Salt

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, combine warm water with honey (or sugar) and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5–10 minutes until foamy. This indicates that the yeast is activated.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add the Augason Farms Roll Mix and salt. Stir gently to incorporate the salt evenly.
  3. Create a well in the center of your dry ingredients and pour in the yeast mixture along with vegetable oil. Using a wooden spoon or spatula, mix until it forms a sticky dough.
  4. Transfer dough onto a lightly floured surface. Knead for about 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic. If you have a stand mixer with a dough hook attachment, you can knead on low speed for about five minutes instead.
  5. Form dough into a ball and place it in an oiled bowl, covering it with plastic wrap or a damp towel. Let it rise in a warm area for approximately 30–40 minutes or until doubled in size.
  6. Once risen, punch down the dough to release air bubbles. Divide into twelve equal pieces (about golf-ball size). Shape each piece into round rolls by tucking edges underneath to create tension on top.
  7. Place shaped rolls on greased baking sheet or lined tray
  8. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Once preheated, bake rolls for about 15–20 minutes until golden brown on top.
  9. Remove from oven; allow them to cool slightly before serving warm as desired!
