Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 can (10 oz) RoTel Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies

Instructions:

  1. Cube the Velveeta into 1 inch squares. Note: Smaller cubes melt more evenly
  2. Combine the cheese cubes and undrained RoTel in your chosen vessel.
  3. Heat the mixture using your preferred method.
  4. If using a microwave, heat in 1 minute intervals. Stir between each burst to avoid hot spots.
  5. If using a stovetop, heat over medium low. Stir constantly until the cheese is glossy.
  6. If using a slow cooker, set to LOW for 1-2 hours.
  7. Continue heating until the dip is completely smooth and velvety.
  8. Optional: Fold in browned ground beef or pork sausage.
  9. Stir until the add ins are evenly distributed.
  10. Serve immediately while molten.
