Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (50g) rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup (50g) brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2g) baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1g) cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1g) salt
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) water (as needed)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, oats, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Mix in the peanut butter and egg until combined. Gradually add water as needed to form a workable dough.
  4. Lightly flour a clean surface, and knead the dough gently until smooth.
  5. Use a rolling pin to roll the dough to about 1/4-inch thickness.
  6. Use a cookie cutter to cut out shapes and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until golden brown and firm.
  8. Let the snacks cool on a wire rack before serving.
