Ingredients:
- 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup (50g) rolled oats
- 1/4 cup (50g) brown sugar
- 1/4 cup (60ml) peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon (2g) baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon (1g) cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon (1g) salt
- 1/4 cup (60ml) water (as needed)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, oats, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Mix in the peanut butter and egg until combined. Gradually add water as needed to form a workable dough.
- Lightly flour a clean surface, and knead the dough gently until smooth.
- Use a rolling pin to roll the dough to about 1/4-inch thickness.
- Use a cookie cutter to cut out shapes and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until golden brown and firm.
- Let the snacks cool on a wire rack before serving.
