Ingredients:

  • 4 bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs (made from day-old bread)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves, chopped
  • Zest of one lemon
  • 1 pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 Lemon wedges for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat each pork chop dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Transfer skillet directly into preheated oven and bake for approximately 15–20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches at least 145°F (63°C) for medium doneness.
  4. Remove from oven and let rest for about five minutes before serving to allow juices to redistribute.
  5. Plate the pork chops garnished with lemon wedges alongside your choice of sides.
