Ingredients:
- 4 bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs (made from day-old bread)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves, chopped
- Zest of one lemon
- 1 pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 Lemon wedges for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat each pork chop dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
- Transfer skillet directly into preheated oven and bake for approximately 15–20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches at least 145°F (63°C) for medium doneness.
- Remove from oven and let rest for about five minutes before serving to allow juices to redistribute.
- Plate the pork chops garnished with lemon wedges alongside your choice of sides.
