Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (240g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon (5g) active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon (5g) salt
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) olive oil
  • 3/4 cup (180ml) warm water
  • 1 cup (240ml) BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup (150g) cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup (100g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup (50g) red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup (20g) fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2g) red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, and salt.
  2. Add olive oil and warm water. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
  6. Roll out the risen dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  7. Transfer the dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  8. Spread BBQ sauce evenly over the base.
  9. Top with shredded chicken, mozzarella cheese, and red onion.
  10. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
  11. Sprinkle with cilantro and red pepper flakes (if using) before serving.
